House of Pizza – ANNOUNCEMENT!
We are excited to share that Dale Gruber Construction will be the general contractor to bring House of Pizza back to Sartell. HOP’s new home will be near their previous location but this time inside Coborn’s grocery store. We are finalizing plans and are excited to get construction underway this fall! GCRE – Commercial Building Caulking
On the job – and on point with safety! This view from the office at North Risk Partners – St. Cloud, MN came with a bonus, our crew hard at work sealing up windows and re-caulking the exterior of their building, managed by GC Real Estate Partners.

Cabin Remodel – Progress Update
One of our big projects this summer has been a cabin addition and remodel on Brigg’s Lake – and the transformation on the lake-facing side of the cabin and boathouse has been incredible!
✅ Landscaping and a retaining wall between the cabin and boathouse are currently underway.
🔜 Up next in Phase 1: new stairs and a landing that will lead down to the brand-new patio.

Lake Home Kitchen Remodel
Our team took this kitchen and gave it a total modern makeover — from the warm, wood tones of the past to a bright and welcoming space with custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and updated lighting.

Quiet Oaks – Railing Restoration
We again partnered with The United Way of Central MN for their annual Day(s) of Caring. This year we had the opportunity to complete work for a past client of ours, Quiet Oaks Hospice House, by repairing and painting the front porch railing. This project was a fun way for our team to work together and give back to our community!
Quiet Oaks Hospice House is a home for residents and families facing terminal illness. They provide an experience that honors and respects the dignity of their residents and their families by focusing on a team approach to provide comfort and support for their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Their medical director and specially-trained nursing staff are experts at pain and symptom management and collaborate with the area hospice agencies and physicians to provide the highest quality care. Quiet Oaks Hospice House is an option for people whose primary treatment goal is based on comfort rather than a cure.

COMMERCIAL
- Generations Home Care – Driveway Replacement: We provided them a brand-new expanded driveway that not only resolved drainage issues but also added an extra layer of safety for families, staff, and drivers accessing busy Pine Cone Road.
- Pomp’s – Door Replacement & Sheetrock Repair: The entrance to their building was a high traffic area in need of some TLC. We gave them a much-needed upgrade by improving function, appearance, and security.
- LeSauk Township – New Town Hall: We remodeled the existing building with updates that focus on function, ADA compliance, and thoughtful improvements throughout. This renovation helped bring new life to a space that will serve the community for years to come.
RESIDENTIAL
- Exterior Updates: The exterior of this home was faded from sun exposure over time so we gave it a fresh new look from repairs to a bold new paint job. All these details add up to a major curb appeal boost, durability, and functionality.
- Deck Renovation: We set our client up with the ultimate deck to take their outdoor entertaining space to the next level using Armadillo Deck materials made locally in Paynesville, MN. This high-quality product is designed to resist rust and corrosion and stand the test of time.
- Garage Improvements: To get this garage in order, we installed a new Lift Master Ultra Quiet Overhead Garage Door, a Renznor gas hanging unit heater for winter, and furnished and installed a Husky garage storage system to stay organized.

It was a busy summer! Check out what the DGC team has been up to:
- Bags for Tools: Team DGC (Rachel and Dale) may not have won the 5th annual Bean Bag event fundraising for the CMBA Tools for Schools, but everyone was a winner for getting together to support an amazing cause!
- Safety Awards: We advanced to the Platinum level in the ABC STEP Safety Management System Program! Safety is at the core of everything we do; this recognition is a reflection of our daily commitment to doing the job the right way, and the safe way, every time.
- Rox Game: Our team enjoyed a fun evening of baseball, community, and time well spent with our amazing crew and families. The sun was shining, the food was good, the drinks were cold, and the Rox pulled off a win!
- Beeranthropy Event: Rachel stepped behind the bar at Pantown Brewing Company, raising funds for Central Minnesota Builders Association’s Tools for Schools program. Some DGC team members came out to support!
- Construction Appreciation Week (Sept 14th-20th): We celebrated with a sausage and egg breakfast to thank our hardworking team. Their dedication and craftsmanship are the foundation of everything that we build!
